Frame Your Shot for Any Platform Before You Shoot It
Composition overlays that help you frame your subject for any destination - right in the viewfinder
Update
You're shooting in Open Gate but posting to a 9:16 Story. Or pulling stills for a square carousel. You know the crop is coming, but you're guessing where it'll land. Frames fix that.
Frames are composition overlays that sit on top of your viewfinder, showing you exactly how your shot will crop for your desired destination. No more guessing, no more losing headroom or key details to a crop you didn't plan for.
Available Frames
- Square — Instagram grid, carousels
- Post 4x5 — Instagram and Facebook portrait posts
- Story 9x16 — Stories, Reels, TikTok, Shorts
- Video 16x9 — YouTube, widescreen delivery
- Panoramic — X-Pan style wide frame
- Cinemascope — Ultra-wide cinematic frame
Tap your selected frame to rotate between orientations.

How to Set Up
- Open Quick Actions and long-press the Grid switch.
- Top row: grids. Bottom row: frames.
- Select your frame.
Your frame selection can be saved to a Profile — so if you have a dedicated Reels setup or a YouTube B-roll Profile, the frame comes with it.

Compose for the final output. Not the crop.
